Easter joy
CROWDS gathered at Cobden Rotary Mini Golf for the annual Easter egg hunt and Easter celebration over the long weekend, drawing 300 adults and children of the community to get together and have a good time.

Cobden Rotary member Gary Kimber said the event “exceeded expectations”.
“It’s one of our biggest days because it’s a family day all about the kids,” he said.
“We have more here than last year and you can tell, it’s absolutely wonderful and way exceeded our expectations.
“We are delighted to do it for families and kids – the turnout is fantastic.
“We will absolutely be running this event again next year, not a worry at all.
“It’s well supported from all over.”
Mr Kimber said it was overall a “great community event”.
“Now they’ve gone over to the Cobden Miniature Railway, which is fantastic,” he said.
“We probably have a record in raffle ticket sales, about $1600 or $1700, which is fantastic too.
“Everything goes back to community groups.
“That’s the best part – that’s what we’re here for.”
