Generous donation
THE Quota Friends of Cobden Rotary has donated a cheque to South West Healthcare’s Camperdown Residential Aged Care Appeal.
Members of the Quota Friends of Cobden Rotary donated $1000 to Camperdown Residential Aged Care Appeal’s Suzan Morey (right) recently.
Appeal manager Suzan Morey thanked the members for their “very generous donation” of $1000.
She said the donation would be used to start the $9200 of fundraising needed to complete the furnishing and equipping of the 23rd bedroom of the 36-bedroom facility currently being built along the Camperdown Hospital.
“The appeal target is $562,000,” Mrs Morey said.
“At the 16-week mark, the community has donated a wonderful $338,560.”
