Port' community celebrations
POOR weather didn’t put a dampner on community spirit in Port Campbell recently.
Community celebrates: Dazzling Dan performed at a community celebration in Port Campbell earlier this month.
A community event was held earlier this month to celebrate the grand opening of the new-look Port Campbell foreshore.
While the official ribbon cutting ceremony was cancelled due to damage to the foreshore after stormy weather, the community celebrations still went ahead.
The event had a change of venue to the Port Campbell Recreation Reserve due to weather conditions.
Dazzling Dan was on hand to keep the kids and adults alike entertained, with Nirranda Cricket Club cooking a barbecue dinner.
About 50-60 people attended the community celebration.
